I can think of countless fun times with Todd throughout the years. Parties, galas, vacations, live auctions, you name it! One of my first Todd experiences was back in 2003 when I stayed with him and Deb at their apartment in City Place.
Deb was at school and Todd took time out of his busy work day to pick me up for lunch. I had never been picked up in a BMW before and thought that was very cool.
Of course the food was great and of course he brought back lunch for everyone in his office. He gave me a tour and introduced me to his big brother Michael! I had never been in a finance office before and thought that was very cool.
Todd left work early that day to take care of his girlfriend’s teenage sister. The rest of the day we spent in City Place and we went to the movies with his mom Andi! I don’t recall which movie but if it was 2003 I’m guessing it starred Ben Stiller.
After the movie was time for our next meal, of course. Todd’s idea was to pick up dinner and head to the rooftop to surprise Deb when she got home. I remember the sun setting and the weather being perfect and we all had a really nice time. It was just one of the many visits to Deb and Todd’s house when I felt included and at home.
Todd’s gift of hospitality makes people feel welcome and loved. His generosity and attitude of “the more the merrier” are things that I hope to emulate in my life. I love you brother!
